There are a number of situations in which a character can become stuck or inaccessible: while some of these have commands or work-around that might help you get back on track, others will require that you file a ticket with Customer Service, so that a GM can log in and assist you.

We've set up 4 different categories under the [SWG] Stuck Character category: while these aren't the only ways that you might find yourself in a bad spot, they cover the most common things we've seen over the years. This is a priority category, and the Customer Service staff will attempt to answer all legitimate stuck character inquiries as they come in. If we find that the concern is not about a stuck character, the ticket will be re-categorized, and then answered in the order received.

* Cannot log character into the game: There are two general causes for this (besides specific galaxy or login server troubles.) Sometimes a character is saved/logged out in a bad location: this could be in a house that was packed up, or a part of the game world that is experiencing a problem. The other common problem relates to the player's SWG Profiles folder. (normally located in C:/Program Files/StarWarsGalaxies) The Profiles folder holds a number of user specific files, and some of these can become corrupted or damaged over time. A quick 'fix' that you can try is to remove the Profiles folder from within the SWG folder, and cut/paste it to your desktop. (all this while SWG is off) Once that's been done, and there's no remnants of the Profiles folder left, restart SWG. The game will realize that it's missing the Profiles folder, and it will go ahead and make a new one with default settings. If you can log in after this, you can pretty safely point at your old folder (and something inside it) as the culprit; if you still can't log in, there may be some issues on server.
* Cannot move: There are times where players might find themselves stuck inside game geometry, or stuck under the 'floor' of the game world. If you are stuck in geometry, the /unstick or /eject commands may help in getting you out: the system will try and determine if your character is in a bad spot, and may move you out of the obstruction. If you are stuck under the game world, you'll want to contact Customer Service.
* Cannot clone or revive: If you aren't able to revive or get up with the help of your friends, contact Customer Service, and a GM will come in and clear up the problem. We believe we've eliminated the major cause for this problem with changes in GU3 and GU3.1.
* Cannot travel: This is almost always due to some sort of server instability, and normally only lasts for a few minutes. When a server goes into a 'loading' state, travel to and from certain parts of the galaxy will be disrupted while the server attempts to fix any downed 'zones' or systems. If this persists for more than a few minutes, contact Customer Service under this category, and let us know what the symptoms are that you've seen.
