Who we are
CG is a community of anti-sexist, anti-nationalist, and anti-racist players. We maintain an active 10-player raiding team. Most of our current players have got years of WoW-experience to look back on. The official language of CG is English and for the sake of a good communication and since it's a matter of politeness, everyone should talk english if there's a person around who wouldn't unterstand you using your mothertongue.
What we want
We try to make this guild work on the basis of a grass-roots democracy. Every member joining CG should share the affinity to the following basic rules (based on 'good old' hacker ethics) which compose the CG concept:
Gamers should be judged by their acting, not bogus criteria such as nationality, age, sexual orientation, gender, or race. Chauvinism based on these criteria won't be tolerated, and just to be perfectly clear: we don't want any nation-related enthusiasm here. Whether it's german, swedish, congolese, us-american, israeli or else. There will be postings on the specific issues and why we got that attitude towards them later on. We recently wrote a statement on sexism, which can be found here
What we can do for you
CG wants to serve as a platform for the connection of like-minded people from anywhere, as well as providing a non-chauvinist environment for (raiding) players. We raid three times a week, mostly Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 7 to 11 pm CET. Our raids on ToC usually take less than one hour and we are confident that we will have some firstkills in ToGC in the next IDs and have started playing on the PTRs too. Three raiddays a week leaves enough time for political engagement and general reallife. We value the reliability and personality of our players higher than their gear and are open-minded towards rerollers (most of us rerolled too). The highest "luxury" we can offer is a guild free of chauvinism and a raidschedule which tries to pay regard to political activity, aswell as a raid aiming for the top 100 of the strict 10-player raiding guilds in europe.
