@ Reppen:
Ein Hotfix muss echt dringend mal her.
Bugs/Glicthes Bazaar System
- Checking a bazaar stops player movement.
- (With above) You can check a bazaar, but be out of range to purchase from it, requiring you to exit the bazaar, move, and recheck it.
- In certain situations, bazaaring items near a zone line can cause your character to become corrupted.
Battle System
- Actions that cannot be used do not properly gray out (eg: Reaction commands, Commands when you are out of range)
- When selecting actions, the action readying bar may say you are using the wrong ability.
- Monsters often run away from the player and regen large amounts of health without giving any indication of the ability they used (I have been told this is intentional, but after having a monster do it non-stop, I believe it is still bugged)
- Skill gain for Disciplines of War and Magic are extremely random, making party play difficult.
- SP/XP is not awarded when a battle is finished (in certain situations).
- (With above) It is possible for a monster to disengage in battle, wiping out all player skill gain, even if he/she is actively in combat with that monster).
- SP/XP does not appear in the log, but is awarded to the player (in certain situations).
- Targeting Issues
- "The target is already engaged."
Check System
- Difficulty of monsters cannot be accurately gauged by the check system.
- Difficulty icon disappears from the monster's name.
Crafting System
[9/29/10] Synthesis attempts appear to be failing and using more durability [9/30/10]
General Issues
- The Autotranslate function may stop working, requiring the player to restart the client to fix it.
- Door will fail to open do to lag, trapping you until you re-log.
- While in an instance, the "You are leaving the instance." warning appears as it kicks you out of the instance.
- NPCs can (in certain situations) spawn beneath the floor.
- No Shutdown option (/shutdown)
- Players load before retainers in the Market Ward (retainers despawn when a new player enters)
Graphics
- Lalafell's shirt kept flaring up like a mini skirt after equipment change (returned to normal after restarting the game or, occasionally, after teleporting).
Guildleve System
- Difficulty difference between leves of the same suggested rank are too vast.
- Disconnecting cancels a leve.
- (With above) Disconnecting while sharing a leve requires that you return to the crystal to rejoin the leve.
- (With above) A player does not automatically join a shared leve when invited to a party (has to return to the crystal to get the leve)
- Unable to remove local leves without failing/completing them.
- Wiping during a Guildleve in which the monsters run away to grad additional monsters may cause the additional monsters to despawn, making the guildleve impossible to complete (eg: Revenge of the Dodos)
Macro System
- Unable to equip multiple items with the same name (attempting to equip multiple Copper Rings to different slots will always error).
Party System
- Clicking a player's health bar does not target that player.
- Party Member Vitals disappear and display ??? (cannot see HP/MP)
- Party Member Vitals get stuck on zero and the player cannot be healed.
- Party Member name disappears and cannot be targeted.
- Unable to claim a monster unless the party leader is standing next to you.
- Unable to invite members unless they are standing next to you.
- Unable to leave party or logoff if any member is in combat.
Text Commands
- /check does not function as documented (/check "Player Name" should check the player with that name, per the documentation).
- /equip does not function as documented (documentation says l.ear, r.ear, off instead of L.ear, R.ear, sub etc)
User Interface - Chat Box
- Chat Box always returns to "General" chat tab (you cannot keep the "Battle" tab as the active tab)
- Chat Filters are not functioning properly/robust enough (inability to remove certain lines, inability to remove certain lines without removing something you need)
- Chat Text is constantly deleted when other interface elements become active (crafting, searching bazaars, etc).
- Entering Chat Text into the Chat Box resets your position in inventory lists (Inventory, Retainer, etc).
User Interface - Keybindings
- Poor Shortcut Implementations (CTRL+R does not function unless you have sent the player a tell and the chat window is active).
- Pressing CTRL+R to reply to a tell with text in the chat window deletes that text (Expected functionality was to put /t Player Name before the text that was already entered).
User Interface - Map
- Unable to see party members on map.
User Interface - Mouse
- Unable to bind to the mouse (eg: autorun to a mouse button).
- Unable to move your character with the mouse (eg: holding right and left click to move).
User Interface - General
- After hitting the surplus limit for one job, changing to another will still show the skill points in the UI in yellow, until you gain at least 1 skill point.
- Volume configuration does not allow you to click the "No Sound" and "Max Volume" buttons.
- Volume configuration "Sound Effects" does not work (turning sound effects off does not stop sound effects from playing)
Other Issues
Bazaar System
- No text command to go directly to a target's bazaar (eg: /bazaar "Player Name" should open a player[retainer]'s bazaar).
Battle System
- Abilities require that you enter into Active mode, even if they seem as though they shouldn't (eg: Archer's Quickstride, Buff Abilities/Spells; this is a person preference of the game design)
- Pressing Enter on a retrainer should open the bazaar (similar to shop NPCs)
Basic Functionality
- Auction House
- Inventory Sort
- Mail System
- Search System (/sea all player, /sea all job)
Crafting System
- Inability to craft multiples of the same item without going through the interface multiple times.
- Poorly implemented interface (too many confirmations for every synthesis)
- Recipe progression is awkward at best; creating a low level item often requires multiple classes 10 to 15 ranks higher.
- Recipes that you "learn" from quests are not stored in any of the possible menu locations.
General Issues
- Attempting to move while sitting does not force your character to stand.
- Emotes while sitting are extremely restricted (/wave does not work, /chuckle does but /laugh does not, even though the message for the emotes are almost identical)
- Certain Equipment durability appears to be too low (specifically Discipline of War weapons).
- NPC item repair does not repair accessories.
- NPC item repair seems too expensive (10k to repair an item from 48% to 75%; not a problem independently, but coupled with certain items wearing out quickly, it appears to be unbalanced)
- The NPC steersman does not give the time remaining on the boat trip.
- Return point changing should be a choice (it is currently set automatically when you touch a crystal)
Guildleve System
- Limited to 8 regional and 8 local leves in a 36 hour period with no other non-grinding content (where are the Star Onion Brigade-esque quests?)
- Targets for other player's guildleves should be untargetable to you.
Linkshell System
- [li]Option to get a message when a Linkshell member comes on(off)line.
- Unable to see if information about members in Linkshell list (location, rank, level)
- Unable to set a Linkshell message.
- Unable to invite members unless they are standing next to you.
- Unable to kick members unless they are standing next to you.
- Unable to promote/demote members unless they are standing next to you.
Macro System
- Artifically limited to 10 lines per macro, causing annoyances when changing jobs (setting abilities, changing equipment).
- The delay between macro lines is an unnecessary annoyance.
- Unable to cut and paste entire macros.
Party System
- Unable to search for people interested in partying (I know there is a recruitment system, but I do not know how that works)
Placeholders
- Switch Target Variants (st, stnpc, stpc, bt)
- Position (<pos>) command does not exist.
Text Commands
- Assist (/assist "Player Name")
- Adding "motion" after an emote does not perform the emote motion without log text (eg: /laugh motion).
- Target (/target "Player Name", /ta <stnpc>, etc)
- Target NPC (/targetnpc)
- Target PC (/targetpc)
User Interface - Chat Box
- Chat Box needs a transparency option.
- Chat Box cannot be easily expanded to fullscreen to scroll through specific types of chat (Press +, enter, then view chat by Say, Party, Linkshell, Tell, etc).
- Chat Filters configuration does not allow you to add additional tabs.
- Chat Filter "Hold" Functionality (as in FFXI, will stop a chat line from immediately scrolling out of the window)
- Chat Line Notification (sound notification on incoming tell)
- Chat Line colors are unable to be modified.
- Limit to the number of characters per line (85) is too small.
User Interface - Friendlist
- Friend List does not display the location of friends.
- Option to get a message when a friend comes online.
User Interface - Keybindings
- Missing Keyboard Shortcuts (Inventory, Equipment, Action Window, Journal)
- Target Nearest NPC
- Target Nearest PC
- Unable to remap arrow keys.
User Interface - General
- Linkshell name is not displayed anywhere.
- No option to hide your own name without hiding everyone's name.
- All "Widgets" need to be movable (Action Bar, NPC popups, etc)
