1) Zones
a) Still a lot of people dont understand how the VP / DP system works. Putting some numbers would be better than bars. So that people would know exactly what they need to do. I m struggling to explain to most how it works.
b) The 2 hours for keeps is too long. Most people are bored to wait and defend 2 hours.
c) There is no reward from locking a zone. How many times I hear on /1 no renown bonus?. A lot of people are not bothered to lock zones because there is no gain.
d) Locking zones should be more dynamic. It shouldnt just be an advance to the Capital.
2) Keeps / Forts
a) Keeps are the primary source for influence and renown. Everybody wants to farm nowdays. And to be honest that's what pays off these days. Most people just run from zone to zone, from keep to keep, from bo to bo. Everybody cycles now the keeps because it's more profit. More xp more renown. A zone worth 6200 renown and 1800 influence. The solution is not to take out the rewards because then we will have dead RvR zones like few months ago.
b) Contribution System = off. It doesnt work. Need a token systm or some influence bar or something to finish this.
All I see these days is people running for the loot. Running to kill the lord, running to get contribution, running for the loot. THIS is killing the game. Nobody cares about RvR, because RvR doesnt provide anything except loot + RP. That's what everybody cares.
As long as there is this contribution system for loot there is not going to be REAL RVR. I think during BETA there was a token system but it was scrapped. Why?
c) AoE is inside forts is killing the game. Tank walls are useless and tanks even more useless. AoE is king of the game and in keeps / forts it's exploited by both sides AoE from 1st and 2nd floor down to the ground floor and killing everyone. This should have been patch a week ago. In my guild at least 5-10 people stop playing because of this. I m sure a lot of people are fed up with this.
3) Cities
a) Cities are an utterly joke right now. There is no chance for the average Joe to get any loot or advancing to next City Stage. The system was too easy and now it's way too difficult. It's almost impossible to get any loot with oposition in the same PQ. I would expect a fix ASAP on this but nay. This is game breaking. I hear from more and more people, why should we go to City? Game is broken.
b) Again is promoted the RvE farming in the cities.There is no point to get in an instance with opposition because you know you wont loot. You ll be frustrated with a boss that 1-shots everyone and log out being angry with Mythic.
4) RvR
a) RvR is the core of this game (supposingly), but most people have loot from PvE. That means a lot to me. That means people are forced to PvE to upgrade gear and equipment. As it stands now the chances for Greater and Superior Wards is very low from RvR.
b) Renown Ranks dont reward enough the people they achieve this ranks. The only reward is 1 Mastery point per 10 RR and gear. Gear that is VERY difficult to get. That's no a reward for the average player. The average player wont make it to RR 60 because he will be fed up with the RvE farming.
c) Killing a player solo rewards more RP than in a group. I killed 1 player solo yesterday and got 600 rp, if i killed the same player in a WB I would get 60 rp (or something). This forces people to solo, since the reward is better. Contribution of RP in a WB should be definetely higher.
d) RvR as it stands now it's almost pointless.
i) Lock Zones -> for NO reward
ii) Get Forts -> for NO rewards -> contribution system
iii) Do City PQ -> for NO rewards -> bugged boss
I m trying to say that the whole RvR as it is now, promotes RvE farming in order to GET A REWARD. REWARD being LOOT, RP and INFLUENCE.
As we all know players play to reward themselves and that's what keeps them playing. If they understand that they cannot get the reward they get frustrated.
