Neuer Cursor

ich hab mal davon gehört, das man den Cursor in WoW austauschen kann, gegen einen von WC III...

soll heißen Untote, Nachtelfen, Orcs oder Menschen... da Menschen schon enthalten sind, zählt das ja nicht^^

aber ich hätte gerne einen anderen Cursor... weiß jemand wie/wo ich den herbekomm und wie ich den einfüge?!

(Is vllt nur ein kleiner Cursor, trotzdem will ich mehr Feeling in WoW^^)

Wenn schon flamen dann richtig denn es heißt www.gidf.de
Würde mich auch stark interessieren.
So ein UD-Cursor wär schon geil.
Ich such auch mal und wenn ich was hab poste ich es hier.

Habe noch nie von einer .blp-Datei gehört.
Wo die jetzt hingehört wüsste ich auch nicht.
Versuchs mal im Interface-Ordner und wenns nich klappt sag nochmal bescheid.

Installation Guide

1. Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
2. Download the mod you want to install
* Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
* Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
* If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
3. Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
* Windows
o Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
o WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
o WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
* Mac Users
o StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
4. Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
5. Move to the Addon folder
* Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
* Go into the "Interface" folder.
* Go into the "AddOns" folder.
* In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
* The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
* Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
6. Start World of Warcraft
7. Make sure AddOns are installed
* Log in
* At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
* If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
* If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Hay thar, lucky owner of your own personaliesed complete WoW cursor set containin Nightelf Orc and Undead.

Now, quit WoW and follow these simple steps!


The first thing you want to do is go to <Your directory>/World of Warcraft/Interface
There you make a folder named "Cursor"(This will automaticly override your old cursor, delete the folder if you want it back)
place the cursor of your choice Point.blp file there.

example given:
<Your directory>/World of Warcraft/Interface/Cursor/Point.blp

Start up World of Warcraft and be amazed by the cool lookin new mouse you have obtained!

Note: You can only have one mouse at the time, and there is no ingame way of changing it.

Ich glaube das is ein weniger schwieriger als ein normales Addon xD
Ist das überhaupt erlaubt?
Darf man auch Daten außerhalb des Interface-Ordners ändern?

du änderst keine andere datei und ja es ist erlaubt, du sagt WoW nur das er auf die da liegende datei zugreifen soll.
PS: Siehe meine Anleitung, dann wißt du das es ca. der gleiche Aufwand ist wie ein AddOn zu Installieren.

Sagt bescheid, wenn ihr es hinbekommen habt weil dann werd ich es morgen auch mal machen.

Pack die "point"-Datei in einen Ordner, nenn den Ordner Cursor und legt ihn im Interfaceordner ab. NICHT im AddOn-Ordner.
