Defense fällt ja auch weg, entsprechend fallen die Ausweichwerte in den Boden

btw. macht der Tankpala am PTR generell keinen Schaden oder bin ich das?

So brauch ich nichtmal ne Daily machen, oder wir haben das "nur Paladine wissen, daß Eichhörnchen 15 Min Enragetimer haben" wieder wahr.

Ist die Skillung die ich gerade habe

meine Rota sieht so aus :
Kreuzfahrerstoß->Richturteil->Kreuzfahrerstoß->(Kreuzfahrerstoß->)3 Ladungen->Unermüdlichkeit->Kreuzfahrerstoß->Urteil des Templers->Kreuzfahrerstoß-> usw bis der effeckt weg ist
Dann weiter mit Kreuzfahrerstoß und Richturteil bis 3 Ladungen und wieder Urteil des Templers
dazu dann Weihe und immer (wenn spontan) Exorzismus
Zusätlich dann Zornige Vergeltung und ein paar Hammer dazwischen
Als Buffs NAtürlich Siegel der Wahrheit und Aura der Vergeltung und Segen der Macht

Siegel der Wahrheit
Richturteil


Dennoch mache ich mit meinem Pala sehr viel weniger schaden als jetzt
Mach ich was Falsch oder ist das jetzt einfach so ?
 
Wenn man es genau nimmt ist Segen der Könige sogar geringfügig Stärker

Naja und sonst solltest du noch Heiliger Zorn einsetzen, der Rest ist eigentlich Gefühlssache du brauchst seeeeeeeehhhhhhr viel Übung damit man jetzt an den Schaden von früher ungefähr rankommt.
Ahja und wenn du deinen Schaden nicht erreichst, auch egal ... so geht es derzeit noch den meisten Melees.

Holy
Primary Spells
Holy Shock is now a primary spell trained at level 10. Now grants a charge of Holy Power when used. Now causes 1400 to 1516 damage to an enemy (up from 1296 to 1402), or 3033 to 3285 healing to an ally (up from 2401 to 2599).
Meditation - Allows 50% of your mana regeneration from Spirit to continue while in combat.
Walk in the Light - Increases the effectiveness of your healing spells by 15%.
Illuminated Healing - ( Illuminated Healing : Your healing spells also place an absorb shield on your target for 8% of the amount healed lasting 6 sec. Each point of Mastery increases the absorb amount by an addtional 1%.

Skills
Divine Plea now regenerates 10% of your total mana over 15 sec, down from 25%. Now reduces the amount healed by all your healing spells. Cooldown increased from 1 min to 2 min.
Beacon of Light now heals the Beacon for 50% of the amount healed, down from 100%.
Holy Wrath now scales from 30% of Spell Power instead of 7% AP + 7% Spell Power. Base damage increased from 1234 to 2153 at 80. Now damages all types of targets, but only stuns Demons and Undeads for 3 seconds. Cooldown reduced from 30 sec to 15 sec.
Cleanse no longer removes magic effects. Now costs 14% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana.
Seal of Insight now also has a chance to restore 4% of the paladin's base mana.
Consecration now deals 729 Holy damage over 10 sec, down from [ 32% of AP + 32% of Spell Power + 904 ] Holy damage over 8 sec. Now costs 55% of base mana, up from 22% of base mana. Cooldown increased from 8 sec to 30 sec.
Exorcism now scales from 15% of Spell Power or Attack Power (depending on which is the highest). Deals [ 15% of max( Spell Power, AP ) + 1615.925 ] Holy damage, up from [ 15% of AP + 15% of Spell Power + 1028 ]. Now costs 30% of base mana, up from 8% of base mana. Cooldown removed.
Flash of Light now costs 27% of base mana, up from 7% of base mana. Heals for 4762 to 5344 base damage, up from 785 to 879.
Redemption now resurrects with 35% of maximum health and mana.
Lay on Hands now also restores 1950 Mana. Cooldown reduced from 20 min to 10 min.
Holy Light now uses 9% of base mana, down from 29% of base mana. Cast time increased from 2.5 sec to 3 sec. Heals for 2870 to 3198, down from 4888 to 5444.
Divine Light *New* - A large heal that heals a friendly target for 8538.19 to 9512.95. Good for periods of heavy damage.
Blessing of Wisdom and Greater Blessing of Wisdom have been removed from the game, mana regen effect merged in Blessing of Might.
Sacred Shield is gone.
Seal of Wisdom and Judgement of Wisdom are gone. Mana regen effect merged in Seal of Insight.

Talents Changes
Beacon of Light is now a Tier 4 talent, down from Tier 11. Now heals the Beacon for 50% of the amount healed, down from 100%.
Infusion of Light is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 10. Now increases the critical chance of Holy Shock by 5/10%. Now reduces the cast time of your next Holy Light by 0.75/1.5 sec. No longer causes your Flash of Light to heal targets with Sacred Shield.
Enlightened Judgements is now a Tier 4 talent, down from Tier 10. now increases the range of Judgement by 5/10 yards, down from 15/30 yards. No longer increases your chance to hit by 2/4%, now grants hit rating equal to 50/100% of any Spirit gained from items or effects. No longer causes your Judgement to heal you.
Divine Favor is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 9.
Judgements of the Pure is now a Tier 1 talent and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 9 and 5 Ranks. No longer increases the damage done by your Seal and Judgement spells.
Sacred Cleansing is now a Tier 4 talent and one 1 Rank talent, down from Tier 9 and 3 Ranks - Your Cleanse spell now also dispels 1 Magic effect.

Sanctified Light is now a Tier 1 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 5 and 3 Ranks. Renamed to Arbiter of the Light. Now Increases the critical effect chance of your Judgement and Templar's Verdict by 6/12%. (Old - Holy Light and Holy Shock)
Aura Mastery is now a Tier 5 talent, up from Tier 3.

New Talents
Light of Dawn - Send a wave of healing energy before you, healing yourself and all friendly targets up to 30 yards away for 2016.16 to 2464.2. / 21% of base mana, Instant cast, 30 sec cooldown
Denounce - Reduces the mana cost of Exorcism by 38/75%. In addition, you have a 25/50% chance when casting Holy Shock to make your next Exorcism spell instant and cost no mana.
Last Word - Gives your Word of Glory a 30/60% increased critical chance when used on targets with 35% or less health.
Blazing Light - Increases the damage of your Holy Shock and Exorcism by 20%.
Tower of Radiance - Healing the target of your Beacon of Light with Flash of Light, Holy Light or Divine Light has a 33/66/100% chance to generate a charge of Holy Power.
Conviction - Gives you a 1/2/3% bonus to damage and healing for 15 sec after causing a critical effect from a weapon swing, spell, or ability. This effect stacks up to 3 times.
Paragon of Virtue - Reduces the cooldown of your Divine Protection by 10/20 sec and the cooldown of your Avenging Wrath by 30/60 sec.
Speed of Light - Casting Holy Shock grants 10/20/30% spell haste for your next Flash of Light, Holy Light or Divine Light, and casting Holy Radiance grants you 60% movement speed for 4 sec. Also lowers the cooldown on Holy Radiance by 10/20/30 sec at all times.
Daybreak - Your Flash of Light, Holy Light and Divine Light have a 10/20% chance to make your next Holy Shock not trigger a cooldown if used within 12 sec.
Clarity of Purpose - Reduces the casting time of your Holy Light and Divine Light spells by 0.15/0.35/0.5 sec.
Protector of the Innocent - Casting a targeted heal on any target, including yourself, also heals you for [ 1240.83 to 1427.62 ] / [ 2481.66 to 2855.24 ] / [ 3722.48 to 4282.86 ].

Holy Guidance has been removed from the tree.
Light's Grace has been removed from the tree.
Holy Power is gone.

Improved Concentration Aura has been removed from the tree.

Protection
Primary Spells
Avenger's Shield is now a primary spell trained at level 10. 3 sec silence effect is now baseline. Now costs 6% of base mana, down from 26% of base mana. Cooldown lowered from 30 sec to 24 sec.
Touched by the Light - Increases your total Stamina by 15%, increases your spell hit by 6%, and increases your spell power by an amount equal to 60% of your Strength.
Vengeance - Each time you take damage, you gain 5% of the damage taken as attack power, up to a maximum of 10% of your health.
Judgements of the Wise - Your Judgement grants you 30% of your base mana over 10 sec.
Divine Bulwark - Increases your chance to block melee attacks by 16%. Each point of Mastery increases block chance by an additional 2%.

Skills
Holy Shield is no longer an active skill. (Merged with Guarded by the Light / Holy Shield)
Fire Resistance Aura / Frost Resistance Aura / Shadow Resistance Aura have been merged into Resistance Aura - Gives [ Level 1-70 : (Level) / Level 71-80 : (Level + 5 * (Level - 70)) / Level 81 or above : (Level + 5 * (Level - 70) + 7 * (Level - 80)) ] additional Fire, Frost and Shadow resistance to all party and raid members within 40 yards.
Divine Shield now lasts 8 sec, down from 12 sec. Forbearance affect no longer includes Divine Protection, no longer restricts the use of Avenging Wrath.
Divine Intervention has been removed from the tree.
Seal of Justice no longer gives a chance to stun. Now causes each single-target melee attack to limit the target's maximum run speed for 5 sec and deal [ ( 0.5% of MWS * AP + 0.5% of MWS * Spell Power ) additional Holy damage.
Blessing of Kings now increases Strength, Agility, Stamina, and Intellect by 5% and all magical resistances by [ ( Level 1-70 : (Level/2) / Level 71-80 : (Level/2 + 0.714 * (Level - 70)) / Level 81 or above : (Level + 2.5 * (Level - 70) + 3.5 * (Level - 80)) ) - 3.5 ], for 1 hour. Now automatically affects party or raid members.
Hand of Reckoning no longer deals damage if the target is not currently targeting you.
Righteous Fury now increases all threat generation instead of affecting just Holy spells.
Hand of Protection now lasts 10 sec, up from 6 sec. Forbearance affect no longer includes Divine Protection, no longer restricts the use of Avenging Wrath.
Hammer of Justice no longer interrupts non-player spellcasting for 3 sec.
Divine Protection now reduces all damage taken by 20% (down from 50%) for 10 sec (down from 12 sec). No longer has a Forbearance effect, no longer restricts the use of Avenging Wrath. Cooldown reduced from 3 min to 1 min.

Talents Changes
Hammer of the Righteous is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 11. Now deals 30% weapon damage instead of [ 4 x your main hand DPS ]. Now causes a wave of light that hits all targets within 8 yards for 583 to 874. Now Grants a charge of Holy Power. Cost increased from 6% of base mana to 12% of base mana. Cooldown reduced from 6 sec to 4.5 sec.
Shield of the Templar is now a Tier 6 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 10 and 3 Ranks. No longer reduces all damage taken or adds a silence effect to Avenger's Shield (effect is baseline now). Now Reduces the cooldown of Avenger's Shield by 6/3 sec, Guardian of Ancient Kings by 1/2 min, and Avenging Wrath by 20/40 sec.
Judgements of the Just is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 10. No longer reduces the cooldown of Hammero f Justice by 5/10 sec. Now reduces both melee and ranged attack speed of the target by 20% for 20 sec.
Avenger's Shield is now a primary spell of the Protection tree.
Guarded by the Light is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 9. Revamped - Increases your Word of Glory by 30/60% when used to heal yourself. Any overhealing will create a protective shield equal to the amount of overhealing that lasts for 6 sec. In addition, your Word of Glory will also cause Holy Shield.
Holy Shield is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 7. Revamped - Using Shield of the Righteous or Inquisition increases your block chance by 15% for 20 sec.
Ardent Defender is now a 1 Rank talent, down from 3 Ranks. Revamped as an active skill - Reduce damage taken by 20% for 10 sec. While Ardent Defender is active, the next attack that would otherwise kill you will instead cause you to be healed for 15% of your maximum health. Instant, 3 min cooldown
Sacred Duty has been revamped - Your Judgements have a 25/50% chance of making your next Shield of the Righteous a critical strike. Lasts 15 sec.
Sanctuary is now a Tier 3 and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 5 and 1 Rank. No longer a blessing and is now a passive skill - Reduces the chance you'll be critically hit by melee attacks by 2/4/6% and reduces all damage taken by 3/7/10%. In addition when you block or dodge a melee attack you gain 1/2/3% of maximum mana.
Reckoning is now a Tier 4 and 2 Ranks talent, down from Tier 5 and 5 Ranks. Now has a 10/20% chance to proc after blocking an attack. (Old - 2/4/6/8/10% proc from damaging attacks on you)
Divine Guardian is now a Tier 5 and 1 Rank talent, up from Tier 4 and 2 Ranks. Revamped as an active skill - All party or raid members within 30 yards, excluding the Paladin, take 20% reduced damage for 6 sec. Instant, 2 min cooldown
Improved Hammer of Justice is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 4.
Toughness is now a Tier 2 and 3 Ranks talent, down from Tier 3 and 5 Ranks. No longer reduces the duration of movement slowing effects, now increases armor value from items by 3/6/10%. (Up from 2/4/6/8/10%)
Divinity is now a 3 Ranks talent, down from 5 Ranks. Increases all healing done by you and all healing effects on you by 2/4/6%. (Up from 1/2/3/4/5%)
Seals of the Pure is now a Tier 1 Protection talent. Increases the damage done by your Seal of Righeousness, Seal of Truth and Seal of Justice by 6/12%.

New Talents
Shield of the Righteous - Slam the target with your shield, causing Holy damage. Consumes all charges of Holy Power to determine damage dealt: 1 Holy Power: 20% Attack Power 2 Holy Power: 60% Attack Power 3 Holy Power: 120% Attack Power / 1 Mana, 5 yd range, Instant cast
Vindication - Your Crusader Strike and Hammer of the Righteous reduce physical damage done by their primary targets by 10% for 30 sec. In addition, your Hammer of Justice will interrupt creatures that are immune to stuns.
Grand Crusader - When your Crusader Strike or Hammer of the Righteous deal damage to your primary target, they have a 10/20% chance of refreshing the cooldown on your next Avenger's Shield.
Hallowed Ground - Increases the damage of your Consecration by 20/40% and decreases its mana cost by 40/80%.
Wrath of the Lightbringer - Increases the damage by 30/60% of your Crusader Strike and Judgement and increases the critical strike chance by 15/30% of your Holy Wrath and Hammer of Wrath.
Eternal Glory - Your Word of Glory has a 15/30% chance not to consume Holy Power.

Avenging Wrath use is no longer restricted by Divine Shield, Divine Protection, or Hand of Protection, or of using Lay on Hands on oneself.
Seal of Vengeance is now named Seal of Truth, now deals [ ( 12.5% of AP + 12.5% of Spell Power ) ], up from [ 13% of AP + 6.5% of Spell Power]. Now deals 16% weapon damage when stacked 5 times, down from 33% weapon damage.
Blessing of Might now also restores mana every 5 sec (Blessing of Wisdom effect). Now automatically affects party or raid members.
Judgement is now the same spell for all Seals. Unleashes the energy of a Seal to judge an enemy for Holy damage. 5% of base mana, 10 yd range, Instant cast, 8 sec cooldown
Crusader Strike is now a baseline skill. Now deals 120% weapon damage, up from 75% weapon damage. Now grants a charge of Holy Power. Cost changed to 10% of base mana, down from 5% of base mana. Cooldown increased from 4 sec to 4.5 sec.

Talents Changes
Divine Storm is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 11. No longer costs mana. Now affects all enemies within 8 yards instead of just 4. Now deals damage based on Holy Power: 1 Holy Power: 22% Weapon Damage, 2 Holy Power: 74% Weapon Damage, 3 Holy Power: 150% Weapon Damage.
Sanctified Wrath is now a Tier 4 talent, down from Tier 8. Increases critical strike chance of Hammer of Wrath by 20/40%, down from 25/50%. Reduces the cooldown of Avenging Wrath by 20 secs, down from 30 secs. No longer causes damage to bypass damage reduction effects while under Avenging Wrath. Now allows the use of Hammer of Wrath at all times during Avenging Wrath.
The Art of War is now a Tier 3 talent, down from Tier 7. Revamped - Your autoattacks have a 7/14/20% chance to make your next Exorcism instant, free and cause 100% additional damage.
Repentance is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 7.
Judgements of the Wise is now a Tier 2 and 1 Rank talent, down from Tier 7 and 3 Ranks. Now also causes your auras increase your party and raid's damage dealt by 3% and your damage by an additional 2%. Replenishment effect now regenerates 1% of the maximum mana per 10 sec, down from 1% per 5 sec. No longer grants you 25% of your base mana.
Divine Purpose is now a Tier 5 talent, down from Tier 6. Revamped - The following attacks have a 20% chance to generate Holy Power: Judgement, Exorcism, Templar's Verdict, Divine Storm, Inquisition, Holy Wrath
Eye for an Eye is now a Tier 1 talent, down from Tier 4. All magic attacks against you have a 20/40% chance to cause 30% of the damage taken back to the attacker as well.
Sanctity of Battle is now a 1 Rank talent, down from 3 Ranks. Revamped - Haste effects lower the cooldown of your Crusader Strike.
Crusade is now a Tier 1 talent, down from Tier 4. Revamped - Increases the damage of your Crusader Strike, Hammer of the Righteous and Templar's Verdict by 10/20/30% and the damage and healing of your Holy Shock by 10/20/30%.
Seal of Command is now a Tier 4 talent, up from Tier 3. No longer an active seal. Revamped - Your Seal of Righteousness, Seal of Truth and Seal of Justice now also deal 7% weapon damage each time you swing. In addition, your Seal of Righteousness now hits up to 2 additional targets.
Pursuit of Justice is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 3. No longer reduces the duration of Disarm effects. Now has a 50/100% chance to grant a charge of Holy Power when struck by a Stun, Fear or Immobilize effect.

Acts of Sacrifice - Decreases the cooldown by 10/20% and mana cost by 10/20% of your Hand of Freedom, Hand of Salvation and Hand of Sacrifice.
Selfless Healer - When you heal others with your Word of Glory, it increases the effectiveness of the heal by 25/50% and increases your damage done by 2/4% per charge of Holy Power for 10 sec.
Rebuke - Interrupts spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 4 sec. / 10% of base mana, 5 yd range, Instant cast, 10 sec cooldown
Long Arm of the Law - Your Judgement has a 50/100% chance to increase your movement speed by 45% for 4 sec when used on targets at or further than 15 yards from you.
Guardian's Favor - Reduces the cooldown of your Hand of Protection by 60 sec/2 min and increases the duration of your Hand of Freedom by 2 sec/4 sec.
Rule of Law - Increases the critical effect chance of your Crusader Strike, Hammer of the Righteous and Word of Glory by 5/10/15%.

dubdidum ich nochmal mit ner frage: Ich hab irgendwo gelesen, bzw es kricht in meinen grauen zellen rum, dass die relikte abgeschaft werden. weiß jemand oder wurde überhaupt schon erwähnt wie diese umgewandelt werden die man hat? Und kommt dat mit 4.0.1 oder dann erst mit cata?

Hmm wenn ich das alles so lese freu ich mich garnicht auf den Patch.

Mein Palatwink (74) macht, so wie er jetzt ist, mir riesigen Spaß. Gerade im PvP spielt er sich sehr stark (Burstdamage).
Und ich befürchte das er nach dem Patch für viele zu kompliziert wird.
Ich finde wenn etwas zu anstrengend wird macht es auf lange Sicht keinen Spaß.
Sicherlich wird sich dann eine Standardrota herhauskristallisieren.

Ich werd versuchen mich reinzufuchsen ich hoffe das der Pala mich auch dann noch bei Laune hält.

Ma sehen wie sich der Pala morgen spielen lässt. Ja ich spiele am Patchday.

Einfach mal bisschen suchen mit den englischen Namen dann findet man schön die Änderungen, die meines Wissens bereits mit 4.0.1, sprich morgen, aktiv sein werden. Man sieht, dass Deff eben meist zu Dodge umgewandelt wird, die Rüstungswerte redeuzieren sich ein wenig auf den Items. Einfach mal bisschen stöbern.

Warum nun gleich einer neuer Patch erscheint ist mir unklar, aber es gibt weitere Klassenänderungen....

Paladin (Forums / 3.3.5 Talent Calculator / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
Holy
Holy Radiance now heals all friendly targets within 20 yards, up from 10 yards.
Exorcism now scales from 22,5% of AP or Spell Power, up from 15%.
Lay on Hands Forbearance effect no longer includes Divine Protection or self-targeted Lay on Hands.
Paragon of Virtue now also reduces the cooldown of Hand of Sacrifice by 15/30 sec.
Infusion of Light now reduces the cast time of your next Divine Light in addition to Holy Light.

Retribution
Acts of Sacrifice has an additional effect - In addition, your Cleanse will remove one movement impairing effect if cast on yourself.
Divine Purpose now also procs from Hammer of Wrath
Crusade has an additional effect - In addition, for 15 sec after you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor, your next Holy Light heals for an additional 100/200/300%.

Protection
Mastery: Divine Bulwark now increases your chance to block melee attacks by 24%, up from 16%. Each point of Mastery increases block chance by an additional 3%, up from 2%.

Seal of Insight - Unleashing this Seal's energy now also restores 15% of the Paladin's base mana.

Guardian of Ancient Kings now causes 1750 damage plus 1750 per Application, down from 5250 plus 5250.
Sheath of Light now increases spell hit by 8%, up from 6%.

Q: Can Grand Crusade be changed to proc other effects so it's not worse than Reckoning?
A: We definitely want to tweak it so that it's not weaker than Reckoning, but that is mostly numbers not adding more effects.

Q: Other classes have multiple types of schools, Paladins holy only. And there's nothing to allow you to resist it. Why is that? It makes them feel like a steamroller.
That's why we've changed it over time for Ret to have more physical abilities than holy. We can't really give them another school because they're... holy. As a quick followup, holy doesn't really have as much of an advantage anymore, because we don't really make gear with resists anymore. If you're losing to a paladin it's probably not because of holy damage.

Q: Why did you add Holy Power? Where did it come from to give Paladins combo points?
We decided mana feels good until it runs out. It's dependable over short periods of time then it goes away. The idea was "Oh the mana bar constantly goes down, then it gets filled again." You were playing off of cooldowns, playing whack-a-mole.

Ultimately they needed a real resource. Sort of that build up and then hit really hard kind of deal. It's not really like combo points, you can kind of ignore it where a Rogue can't. It's a new resource though where we'll have to iterate, but we wanted to get away from the cooldown whack-a-mole gameplay for Paladins.

Q: Paladin healing is not as potent at 85 as the others but they have a lot more mana.
A: We've tweaked that a lot and Paladin healing is a lot more potent now at 85.

Q: Holy Power generation is gimped for generation of threat overall. Do you have any plans to give Judgment a guaranteed proc for Holy Power? Or maybe a chance to proc free Holy Power? Do you have any ideas to fix this problem?
A: One trap we want to avoid is that you can keep Inquisition and Holy Shield up at the same time. We don't want you to have both of your "finishers" that buff you up at the same time.

But one problem is warriors are generating too much threat. We fixed that last week.

We changed it so Divine Plea will generate 3 Holy Power when used so you can start with Holy Power on the pull.

Q: Zealotry clashes with Ret's mastery and the Divine Purpose talents. It's sort of reducing how many Crusader Strikes we can generate (wat?). Do you feel it's clashing, or that you'll reevaluate it as a talent?
A: We're looking at it. Some people claim it's not a dps increase at all, but we're confused by that. We might change it so Divine Purpose procs 3 Holy Power while Zealotry is up.




Sehr sinnvolle Lösung in meinen Augen, denn so ist es möglich, den Nutzen durch das Heilige Schild am Kampfbeginn zu erhalten, statt ihn entweder erst sehr viel später zu erhalten oder unnötigerweise mit einem HP irgendetwas zu machen.

As the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm draws near, we continue to fine-tune various class abilities. Based on feedback and our own testing, we're in the process of assessing and amending tanking cooldowns -- at level 85 in particular. Some of these abilities, like druid Savage Defense and death knight self healing, are particularly difficult to model, so further testing will be necessary before there is sufficient information to base adjustments on.

In the case of paladins and warriors, we have recognized that it is possible for block chance to get too high too quickly and cause a situation where stacked mastery and the warrior Shield Block ability behave strangely. Since that's a scenario we want to avoid, we're making some changes regarding how block chance is handled for each of these classes:

Paladins - Holy Shield will be changed to increase block value by 10% (40% total) instead of increasing block chance by 15%. Since this will cause Mastery to become more valuable, the amount of block granted by Mastery will be reduced to 2.25% block chance per point of Mastery, down from 3%.

Warriors - At level 85, the value of Shield Block decreases as block value generated by Mastery increases. To remedy this, we will convert overflow of block + avoidance that exceeds 100% into critical block chance instead. Along with that change, Shield Block will be reduced to +25% block chance (down from +100%), but this will still yield a net buff for most warriors. Also in response to this change, the amount of block and critical block provided by Mastery will be equalized. Finally, Mastery will now grant 1.5% block chance per point.

Divine Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 8538-9512 to 11100-12366
Holy Wrath now scales from 61% of SpellPower, up from 30%. Base damage reduced by 22%, from 3122 to 2435.
Exorcism now scales from 34.4% of SpellPower or AP, up from 15%. Base damage increased by 15% from 2343 to 2741.
Flash of Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 5313-5961 to 6907-7750.
Lay on Hands no longer restores mana.
Holy Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 3202-3567 to 4162-4637.
Beacon of Light now lasts 5 min, up from 1 min.
Mastery: Illuminated Healing now absorbs 10% of the amount healed, up from 8%. Now lasts 8 sec, up from 6 sec. Each point of mastery increases the absorb amount by an additional 1.25%, up from 1%.
Holy Shock base healing has been increased by 30%. From 3033-3285 to 3943-4271.

Retribution
Templar's Verdict now deals 235% weapon damage with 3 Holy Power, up from 225%.
Hammer of Wrath base damage has been reduced by 22%. From 4890-5404 to 3814-4215.
Seal of Truth now scales from 12.85% of Attack Power and Spell Power (up from 12.5%) but now deals 15% weapon damage when stacked 5 times. Down from 16%.
Crusader Strike now deals 115% weapon damage, down from 150%.

Protection
Avenger's Shield now has a 15 sec cooldown, down from 24 sec.
Shield of the Righteous now deals 609/1828/3656 damage depending on Holy Power. (Old - Deals 20%/60%/120% of Attack Power as damage)
Shield of the Templar no longer reduces the cooldown of Avenger's Shield. Now allows your Divine Plea to generate 1/2/3 Holy Power.
Guarded by the Light now increases Word of Glory by 15/30%, down from 30/60%.
Wrath of the Lightbringer now increases the damage of Crusader Strike by 50% at Rank 1, up from 30%. (Not sure if the plan is to make it a single rank, or a 2 Ranks 50/100%, seems bugged)

  • Paladin tanks are not intended to go cap block as fast as they can. It’s fine if you want to do that, but we don’t treat it as “the new defense cap” and we don’t balance paladins assuming they have a 100% block chance. That is something the community identified as being not only possible, but likely, and one of the reasons we changed the way block works for paladins.
  • Guardian of Ancient Kings -- Damage reduction changed from 60% to 50%. Cooldown still 2 minutes (talented). Duration still 12 seconds.

Das ist in meinen Augen natürlich eine ziemliche Schwächung, vor allem dann, wenn die Grunderhöhung von 8% Blocken eventuell auch noch wegfällt.

Wenn man einfach mal nen Zahlenspiel aufmacht: Im Moment hat man 85 - 87 % Comb. Avoid, die 15% zum "Ziel" fallen schonmal weg, dafür kommen hoffentlich 8% hinzu und ein bisschen was durch die per Punkt Erhöhung. Das wird defentiv nicht mehr einfach zu erreichen sein, vor allem wenn man hinzunimmt, dass zwar ein großer Teil der Items in Cata Meisterschaftswertung aufweisen, man diesen dann aber nicht mehr umschmieden kann.

Also da bleibt noch Einiges abzuwarten...
 
Es ist, wie ich angenommen habe, auch der Basisblockwert wird reduziert mit Cata. Damit wird es natürlich doch um einiges schwerer ans Blockcap zu kommen. Ansonsten: Kann man mit leben, andere Tankklassen trifft der Nerf-Hammer um einiges stärker:

Blessed Life now cannot occur more than 8 seconds (up from 2 seconds).
Protector of the Innocent now affects heals on any target except yourself.

Retribution
Sanctity of Battle now also affects Divine Storm.
Divine Storm no longer uses Holy Power. Now deals 60% weapon damage, costs 5% of base mana, and has a 4.5 sec cooldown.

Protection
Mastery: Divine Bulwark now increases your chance to block melee attacks by 18%, down from 24%. Each point of Mastery increases block chance by an additional 2.25%, down from 3%.
Shield of the Templar now reduces the cooldown of Guardian of Ancient Kings by 45/80/120 sec, down from 1/2/3 min.
Holy Shield now increases the amount your shield blocks by an additional 10% for 20 sec instead of increasing your block chance by 15%.
 
Toll!! Bald macht der CS nor noch 30% Waffenschaden und die Richturteile 5% dann darf mann bald seinen Pala umsonst in einen Krieger seiner wahl Umwandeln ^^

Warum Nerfen sie das was schon kaputt ist ?

Wart doch einfach ab wie es später wird, ganz sinnlos machen die das ja auch nicht.

Ok, klingt Fanboymäßig, aber in der Beta wird dauernd generft, gebufft, generft, gebufft, und das bei allen Klassen. ISt für uns als Laien halt nicht immer durchschaubar, denn der Auslöser für den Buff oder Nerf wird ja nicht erklärt.
